Mortgage Loan Processor I - F/T, non-exempt
A Mortgage Lending Processor I is responsible for answering questions from members on real estate loans and rates. Gathers and analyzes financial information on members for the purpose of determining qualifying status for mortgage loans, interviews members for routine loans or to obtain additional information. The Mortgage Lending Processor reviews and verifies all loan documents for accuracy and completeness. This role coordinates the mortgage lending closing process and ensures all documents meet government compliance standards and the Credit Unions Policies and Procedures. This individual processes Conventional, Land, Welcome Home Mortgages, FHA, VA, and USDA mortgages. Performs various other duties that may be required by the Senior Vice President of Mortgage Lending.

Internal Auditor – F/T, non-exempt
The Internal Auditor audits financials, controls, operations or other records and data to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of systems. This individual determines audit strategies, programs, and procedures for specific audit assignments. The Internal Auditor audits and evaluates the overall condition of a variety of financials, controls, and operations systems in accordance with professional standards, the Credit Union’s mission and the Internal Audit Departments goals and objectives.
Critical Knowledge, Skill and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in business discipline such as accounting, finance, or management.
- Three to five years’ experience in auditing.
- Organization and Time Management: Superior ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to relate to staff and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Technological Competency: Ability to learn systems and programs used by the department and adapt to changing technologies.
- Confidentiality: Maintains a high level of confidentiality in all matters, at all times.
- Professionalism and Due Care: Sound decision making, ability to take feedback, and a professional attitude that puts the best interest of the members first.
- Certified Public Accountant and/or Certified Internal Auditor designation is preferred.
- Ability to function independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data and apply basic statistical techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software is preferred.
- Must pass all credit and bond requirements.

Personal Financial Officer I – F/T, non-exempt
A Personal Financial Officer serves as liaison between the member and the Credit Union. This individual is responsible for processing member transactions and maintaining a cash drawer, providing account information, opening new accounts, and processing loan applications as well as provides limited transactions to Credit Union Cooperative Branch (CUCB) guest members in a prompt and accurate manner. The Personal Financial Officer attends to all telephone, online and walk-in inquiries from members. Other responsibilities include preparing loan applications and other documentation necessary for completing loan files, funding approved loans, completing adverse action letters, and maintaining Lending Department files. This individual is expected to assist members in a professional and courteous manner with any and all questions or challenges.
Critical Knowledge, Skill and Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of related experience in lending and/or member services with full-service financial institution and/or training; or equivalent combination of education.
- Good understanding of member services, loan services, polices, and procedures and products provided.
- Understanding of member bookkeeping procedures, of related legal and regulatory standards, and required loan documentation.
- Understanding of related legal and regulatory standards and required loan documentation.
- Knowledge of consumer and residential lending practices, and credit union products and services with a thorough understanding of Real Estate Lending.
- Interpersonal skills including trust, diplomacy, courtesy, and tactfulness in working with others.
- Excellent interview skills, written and verbal communication skills, and public relations skills.
- Effective decision-making skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Skilled in multi-tasking.
