Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager – F/T, exempt

EFCU Financial, a dynamic credit union with an 85-year history of solid growth and stability in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking an experienced and service-oriented team player to join our team as an Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager

In our service-focused organization, our Assistant Vice President-Branch Manager directs and administers the overall operations of the branch and shared outlet for Credit Union Cooperative Branch (CUCB) member credit unions in accordance with established policies and procedures for both.  This individual is expected to guide the branch staff in providing quality service to members in the areas of account transactions, loan applications, new accounts, and solving problems within established policies and guidelines.

Critical Knowledge, Skill and Educational Requirements:

  • A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
  • Two years to five years of supervisory or related experience.
  • Must be eligible to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS) and must maintain registration with NMLS as a registered Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
  • Knowledgeable of Regulatory Compliance Requirements of a Depository Financial Institution.
  • Experience in good customer relations.
  • Lending experience preferred.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Must be dependable and reliable.
  • Must pass all credit and bond requirements.
  • In depth knowledge of Credit Union products and services is a plus.

Member Service Representative (Teller) – F/T

EFCU Financial Federal Credit Union, a dynamic credit union with an 85-year history of solid growth and stability in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking an experienced and service-oriented team member to join our team as a Member Service Representative

In our service-focused organization, Member Service Representatives serve as a liaison between the member and the Credit Union.  These individuals are responsible for providing account information, opening new accounts, and professionally handling members’ daily Credit Union needs.  They also provide a variety of transaction services to members and limited transactions to Credit Union Cooperative Branch (CUCB) guest members from other credit unions in a courteous, prompt, and accurate manner.

Critical Knowledge, Skill and Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6 months of cash handling or teller experience.
  • Must have an inquisitive demeanor and willingness to learn.
    • Ability to understand members’ financial needs and knowledge to recommend products and services to support their financial needs.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Must be dependable and reliable.
  • Must pass all credit and bond requirements.
  • Knowledge of Credit Union products and services is a plus.
