CEO's Message

Tyler Pic

As our Credit Union has grown, so has our desire to give back even more to the communities we serve. In addition to our donations budget of $30,000 annually, our staff participates in a “Blue Jean Fridays” philanthropic campaign each month to assist with donating funds to a staff selected, local, non-profit organization. Check out our In Your Community page and our social media platforms to see those donation recipients.

At the forefront of our community involvement is our commitment to education. In addition to supporting several local elementary, middle and high schools with donations to various athletic teams, bands and events, we invest our time and resources to provide in-class teaching tools for financial education, and our business development staff spends many hours each year volunteering at several educational events hosted by local groups and local schools. In addition, consistently through the years, our Credit Union has provided scholarships to high school seniors so they may continue their secondary education, as we have awarded more than $50,000 in scholarships to dozens of deserving students.

But we wanted to do more…

I am pleased to announce the formation of EFCU Financial Foundation, a charitable arm of EFCU Financial. With the formation of the Foundation, we will be able to give more scholarships to more college-bound seniors in the years to come. It is our goal to award at least one additional scholarship in 2019 and build from there. Visit our EFCU Financial Foundation page for more information and find out how you, too, can get involved.

EFCU Financial is proud to be a part of the growing educational successes in our communities.
