As the second largest credit union in the Greater Baton Rouge Area and the third largest credit union in Louisiana, we not only want to provide you with the products and services you need, we also want to make your banking an enjoyable experience.

EFCU Financial ranked near the top in our state in all three categories scored: 1) return on savings for our members, 2) lending return to borrowers, and 3) member product usage. This means you cannot find a better value at any of the other credit union in the entire state than at EFCU Financial.

Another independent rating organization, Bauer Financial, has given EFCU Financial its top rating of 5-Star (Superior). Bauer Financial is the source for unbiased, independent bank and credit union star-ratings. Ratings and reports are compiled from financial data as reported to federal regulators. In addition, based on 11 key performance indicators compiled by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), EFCU Financial is also the overall best performing credit union in Louisiana. In 2023, we added more than 9,400 new members, and our total assets grew by 14%. Total loans to members increased $117 million, an increase of 15% over last year. We were also able to award $30,000 in college scholarships to 24 graduating high school seniors, and we helped over 30 non-profit organizations and schools by donating funds and in-kind contributions.
