For more than 90 years, EFCU Financial has provided exceptional service and superior benefits to our member-owners in the pelican state. Membership in our credit union is now easier than ever! To join EFCU Financial, you must meet any of the following requirements:
1. Persons who live, work, worship, or attend school in these nine Louisiana Parishes:
- East Baton Rouge
- West Baton Rouge
- Ascension
- East Feliciana
- West Feliciana
- Iberville
- Livingston
- Point Coupee
- St. Helena
2. Immediate family or household members (limited to spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren and siblings) of a current EFCU Financial member.
3. Spouse of a person who died while within the field of membership.
4. Become a member by making an annual donation to the EFCU Financial Foundation or the Arc of Baton Rouge. Donation made at time of application.
At EFCU Financial, once you become a member, you're always a member. There's no need to close your membership if you change employers, move to a new neighborhood or move across the country. Member Identification Notice
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: When you open an account or apply for a loan, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other identification that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
