Here is how it works:
- Request a new card to get started, whether it's a first-time issue or a replacement for a lost or stolen card.
- You'll receive a text message with a link to access your new card.
- The link will take you to a secure webpage. Follow the prompts on the screen to easily and safely activate your new card.
- Add your new card to your digital wallet. You can start using it wherever digital payments are accepted!
Direct Deposit & Payroll Deduction
Tired of standing in line each week to deposit your paycheck? Save time and gas with Direct Deposit, a fast, convenient, and easy way to deposit your paycheck.
With Direct Deposit, your money automatically goes into a designated account each payday so it’s available for immediate withdrawal. Direct Deposit can be used for payments from your employer, a retirement plan, or Social Security.
Stop by your nearest EFCU Financial branch for details or make a request through your employer's payroll office.
Plus, when you sign up for Direct Deposit, you may receive your paycheck up to 2 days earlier. In fact, ALL Direct Deposits are posted on the day we receive them. No more waiting for your money!**
**Faster access to funds is based on a comparison of traditional banking policies and deposit of paper checks from employers and government agencies versus deposits made electronically. Direct Deposit and earlier availability of funds are subject to payer's support of the feature and timing of payer's funding.
Wire Services
EFCU Financial utilizes the Federal Reserve Wire Transfer program to allow members to electronically transfer funds quickly and securely between financial institutions. Incoming wire transfer services are free for EFCU Financial members. To arrange for an outgoing wire, you must initiate the wire transfer at the institution where the funds are currently deposited.
In order to receive a domestic or international (thru a correspondent financial institution) incoming wire transfer to your account at EFCU Financial, you will need to provide the sending financial institution with the following information to ensure the funds are received:

If the incoming wire funds are to be deposited to your checking account, please be sure to provide your entire checking account number which is typically located at the bottom of your checks. If you do not have checks and/or need assistance finding the number, please ask an EFCU Financial team member for assistance.
If you would like the incoming wire deposited to your savings (share account), simply provide your regular savings (share account) number.
Incoming wires are posted throughout the day until 5:00 p.m. Central Time during regular business hours.
