EFCU Financial Foundation Level Up Scholarship Program

The EFCU Financial Foundation Level Up Scholarship Program is our way of investing in the bright minds of tomorrow, offering financial support to graduating seniors in our community who are ready to pursue higher education. To date, we've awarded $158,000 in scholarships.

2026 EFCU Financial Foundation Classroom Innovation Grant 

 

The EFCU Financial Foundation Classroom Innovation Grant is designed to support full-time classroom teachers (PreK-12) currently employed by a Louisiana school system. The $1,000 grant will be awarded to ten recipients each to provide funding for innovative classroom resources or programs that benefit the students in the award recipient’s classroom.  

 

How to Apply:

  1. Complete the official application.

  2. Obtain approval and a signed letter of support from your current Principal. 

  3. Email the signed letter of support to [email protected]

Classroom Grant Application:

  • Applicants are not required to be members of EFCU Financial.

  • Teachers will be encouraged to share pictures and/or videos with the EFCU Financial Foundation that show how the funds were used. Tag us.

 

Classroom Innovation Grant Disqualifiers: 

  • Teacher salaries, travel, food or basic supplies that are covered by the student or the school district.

  • Requests without explanations.

  • Incomplete applications. 

 

Scoring Criteria: 

  • Innovation: Resources or programs that will serve as a catalyst for student academic improvement.

  • Student Impact & Reach: how many students will benefit and the depth of the benefit.

  • Measurable Objectives: realistic goals and how the resource or program will improve student grades or understanding.

  • Budget Clarity: resources that can be purchased with the $1,000 grant funding.
